Organic operators’ lists publicly available from January 1st, 2013

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 426/2011, published on May 2nd, 2011, introduces the obligation of the Member States to maintain a publicly available record of all Organic Operators updated every year.

The lists shall also be available on the Internet and they will at least include the names and addresses of the operators with documentary evidence that they are subject to the control system and that they meet the requirements laid down in the Regulation 834/2007. The documentary evidence shall at least permit the identification of the operators and the type of the organic products as well as the period of the validity of certification including the last date of control and the Control Body in charge.

The Regulation shall apply from January 1st, 2013.
