Seminar for Organic Labeling by ACCI

The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) with the assistance of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF)  in the framework of TECHFOOD – EU project (www.techfoodproject.eu), organize a Seminar with subject: “Organic Products: New labeling requirements“, followed by a round table for functional foods in EU.

The Seminar shall take place at ACCI central building in Athens, January 12, 2011, from 16:00 to 21:00, with a wide participation of experts and scientists from the Organic Sector from Southeastern Europe (Italy, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, etc). It will be a unique opportunity for networking and for a business information update on modern trends, opportunities and challenges of the organic sector.

People attending, will also have the opportunity to attend future actions (business networking) with operators from the Southeastern Europe (Italy, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, etc.), with expenses covered by the ACCI, in order to establishing business and technology partnerships.

• Organic Production: Regulatory Framework in EU
• Control System for Organic Products
• The New European Logo for Organic Products
• Requirements for the use of the EU Logo and indications referring to Organic Production
